Andrew Starykowicz

Andrew is in his sixth professional season as a triathlete.

He is a graduate of AE Stevenson High School in Long Grove, Illinois. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 2005, where he won a Big Ten Championship in water polo (2001) and achieved All-American honors in swimming (2000) and the triathlon (2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005).

In 2008, he placed 24th in the World Championships. His bike split during the competition was the fastest in the history of the sport. In 2009, he placed third in the Los Angeles Triathlon and recorded the fastest-ever bike split for a ½ Ironman (1:58.49).
